Resealing:
To keep your board looking brand new, make sure you season it once a month with cutting board oil. We seal our boards with 100% vegetarian and plant based cutting board oil.
Washing:
Cleaning: To clean your wood cutting board, scrub it with hot water and mild dish soap, and then dry it, in a vertical position, completely.
Deep Cleaning: To deep clean your cutting board, mix baking soda with hot water and scrub the board with a sponge. You can also scrub this paste into the board with a lemon to help combat any smells. Then rinse off the board and dry it completely.

A round cutting board earns its spot on the counter and stays there — as good for slicing and prep as it is for setting out cheese and bread when people come over. This one is 14 inches across, a compact size that suits a smaller kitchen, cut from solid White Oak or Maple. Choose the surface that fits how you work: Face Grain or Edge Grain for a clean, classic look, or End Grain, whose upward-facing fibers let a blade slip between them and spring back, so the board stays knife-friendly and hides cut marks over time.
It comes in three thicknesses — a slim 3/4 inch, a sturdy 1.5 inch, or a substantial 2.25 inch block — and you can add a juice groove to catch the runoff when you carve or slice. Every board is finished with Walrus Oil, a food-safe treatment, so it is safe for direct food contact and easy to keep up with a wipe and the occasional re-oil. Made in the USA from real hardwood, so grain, color, and the odd knot will vary from board to board.
