Ultra Auger Bit for Ultra & Mantel Brackets

This is the bit that drills the support-rod holes for our Studlock UltraBracket and Mantel Bracket, sized to run through the matching Ultra drilling jig and bore holes snug enough that the rods seat tightly with no play. It is a 13/16-inch auger bit, sold in two lengths to match your rod depth: the 6-inch bit for 4-inch support rods, and the 18-inch bit for the deeper 6- and 8-inch rods. Drill the rod holes first, before routing the back of the shelf or mantel, and use our bit rather than a generic one — other auger bits may not fit the jig or leave the right-size hole.
