Ultra Routing Jig for UltraBrackets
Description
Description
This is the template that lets a thicker UltraBracket shelf sit truly flush to the wall. Used with a router, it guides a clean, straight recess into the back of your shelf so the Studlock UltraBracket beds into the wood instead of holding the shelf off the wall — no gap behind it. It is cut from half-inch plywood, sized to match your UltraBracket (10 to 70 inches, matched to your shelf length), and comes with two wood screws to hold it to the shelf while you work. Use a 3/4-inch by 5/16-inch router bit (we sell one if you need it), and mind the order of operations: drill the support-rod holes first, then rout — the drilling guide will not fit once the recess is cut.
