Description

If you are installing our Studlock DIY Bracket into a shelf you are making yourself, this is the bit that drills the holes for the bracket's support rods. It is a 9/16-inch auger bit, 7 inches long, sized to run through our DIY drilling jig and bore a hole snug enough that the rods seat tightly with no play. The single 7-inch bit handles both the 4-inch and 6-inch DIY rod depths, so it is the only auger bit you need for the DIY bracket. Drill the rod holes first, before routing the back of the shelf, and use our bit rather than a generic one — other auger bits may not fit the jig or leave the right-size hole.
